Notes Cloth has a narrow band of sunning to the front front board and some irregular light sunning the back. Some faint splash marks to the front and spine else very clean and neat. Lovely colour plates are all present though the tissue guard for the frontis is partially detached. There are some age toning marks scattered to the prelims and to the page margins of the first few pages else text is very clean.

Colour frontis tipped on to thicker light brown paper with a printed brown boarder and tissue guard with illustration title; 10 further colour plates similarly presented on brown paper with border and tissue guards with the titles of the illustrations printed. Brown cloth with gilt titles to front and spine.
